How do I compare area on a map?

Open Compare Area, search for a place to load its boundary or start drawing, click points on the map to outline a custom area, confirm the polygon, and add another area to compare their sizes.

What units does Compare Area support?

Compare Area shows measurements in square meters, square kilometers, square feet, and acres.

Can I compare places in different cities?

Yes. You can draw or search areas from different locations, choose a reference area, and overlay the other areas by center to compare relative size.

Can I share a comparison?

Yes. After you add at least one area, use the Share button to copy or share a comparison URL.
